This Friday, October 26, 2012, we'll gather at The English Manor in Ocean Township to remember the opportunities we've had for the past twenty years to serve our brothers and sisters living with HIV/AIDS in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. In the process of preparing this past year to celebrate this we've been looking at pictures, reading old newsletters, talking about the people who have been part of the journey and, sadly, remembering so many people that have passed.
It has been an amazing twenty years. It has been full of so many people who have hearts that so big and energy to do so much. When I think of the amount of meals that have been served and pantry bags that have been given out over these years as well as the financial support that we have been able to give it is amazing.
But what is most amazing is the community that has formed - the folks from so many different places and ages and backgrounds that have made the Mission of The Center come alive.
I know that over these years we have been able to help and bless so many. But I also know that I have been blessed by the folks who have joined in the effort. It is something to celebrate.
