September ended with The Center Crew taking part in the 2013 New Jersey Ride Against AIDS Event. 3 Days 250 Miles 100% to Charity. This was the twelfth annual event to start at the top of the state of New Jersey in High Point! Over the following three days The Center Crew supported the cyclist who peddled their bicycles through the entire state of New Jersey and ended in Cape May, for the closing ceremony.
Dr. Edward J Mahaney, Mayor of Cape May, spoke so highly about the efforts of this non-profit band of heroes that has raised nearly one-million dollars over the past twelve years for nine different HIV/AIDS agencies in the state of New Jersey.
Congratulations to the riders, crew members and to Pat Sherman, the Executive Director, of the New Jersey Ride Against AIDS. What an incredible group of talented and thoughtful human beings!

It’s hard to believe that in in just a few weeks we’ll start collecting food for over 350 Thanksgiving Baskets for our clients of The Center and our residents of Center House. Very soon we will be collecting nearly 700 Christmas gifts for these same deserving folks, their families and their caregivers.
If you’d like to help and would like to adopt a client or resident for the Thanksgiving or Christmas Holidays, please contact us here at The Center:
